The Elisa Viihde League, formerly known as the Finnish Esports League, will have a prize pool of ~$44,600 and a spot up for grabs at DreamHack Winter.
The Finnish Esports League, now known as the Elisa Viihde League, will kick off on August 6th and will feature ~$44,600 in prizes as well as a spot in this year’s DreamHack Winter, one of the stops in the DreamHack Open tour, which features a $100,000 prize pool.

SJ and HAVU, two teams that made it to the final of the last three iterations of the league when it was still known as the FEL, will once again be in contention among six other teams, including hREDS and KOVA.
The regular season, which will run through September 29th, will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, with matches at 17:00 and 20:00 , and will be broadcast here.
The eight-team league will start off as a round-robin group stage in which all teams will play each other twice in best-of-threes, with the top four teams making it to the offline finals at the Grail Quest LAN in Turku, Finland, on October 18-19. The top four teams will then play a best-of-three single elimination bracket for a spot at DreamHack Open Winter.
"FEL's CS leagues have seen over 500 teams competing for Finnish CS:GO's crown. This extensive lineup supports Elisa Viihde's and FEL's joint mission to provide Finnish players with new and especially tangible paths to professionalism."
